Stationery, clothing, paper products, gifts, and pottery all use patterns created and sold by artists in various ways. This course will introduce students to the world of commercial art that gives illustrators and designers the ability to earn income through usage rights of patterns in a variety of contexts and formats. Students will create a collection consisting of one “hero” pattern and two supporting patterns to pitch to a potential buyer. Overnight Program = $1500 (includes room and board, meals, evening activities and a field trip) Day Program = $650 (includes lunch each day)Session Details
