Ready to take your ideas to the next dimension? In this middle school makerspace class, students will have the full run of the high school Fabrication Lab as they dive into the world of digital design and engineering using both Tinkercad and Onshape—the same cloud-based CAD software used by real engineers. Campers will learn how to build detailed models, test mechanical ideas, and create functional projects. They’ll get hands-on experience with 3D printers, laser cutting, gears, wheels, chains, sprockets, and whatever else they need for moving mechanisms from our Robotics Lab.Additional Information
🕐 Extended Care
Open to lower/middle school campers attending a full-day or two half-day camps. Campers of all ages will enjoy various fun activities before and after camp and an afternoon snack. Time: 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Cost: $50 for AM care, $50 for PM care. If campers are not picked up 10 minutes after camp ends, they will be sent to Extended Care and charged a daily fee. Junior Camp will not offer Early Care or Extended Care.
📋 Cancellation Policy
Refunds for camps, less the $50 non-refundable deposit, will be issued for June camps if requested by May 1 and for July camps if requested by June 1. No refunds will be issued after these dates. Ensworth Summer Camps reserves the right to cancel due to low enrollment or health and safety-related concerns, in which case, refunds will be issued in full.
🍴 Lunch
Students who attend two half-day camps or a full-day camp during the same week may purchase or bring their lunch. The fee for lunch is $50 per week. Lunch runs from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
ℹ️ Additional Details
Grade levels refer to the camper’s grade in the 2026 – 2027 school year. All camps require a $50 deposit, which applies to the cost of the camp, or you may choose to pay in full at the time of registration. If you choose to pay the deposit, your online payment method will automatically be charged the balance due on the installment dates of the payment plan you select.
