Backyard Adventures Week invites campers to explore the wonders of nature and the excitement of camping right in our own backyard. Children enjoy hands-on outdoor experiences such as building tents, creating nature-inspired crafts, and completing team challenges. Campers discover plants and animals they might encounter camping, explore how a compass works, learn about constellations, discover why campfires are important, and experiment with ways to capture the sun's rays.
