A week-long pre-college experience for teens (ages 15–18) to cultivate technical skills in art and design with emphasis on problem solving, designing, communicating and creating. Students engage in two studio classes per day with choices in architecture, interior design, fashion design, graphic design, typography, photography, painting, printmaking, drawing, and more — as well as seminars led by industry professionals and Belmont faculty. Students have access to the professional photography lighting studio and fabrication lab (3D printers, 3D scanners, laser cutters), and the Frederick Hart Studio Museum for figurative drawing. Concludes with a student exhibition. Day program includes lunch daily. Offered jointly by O'More College of Architecture & Design and Watkins College of Art.
