Inspired by Rube Goldberg machines, this hands-on STEM program challenges students to design and build creative chain reaction contraptions that complete simple tasks, such as ringing a bell or triggering a motion. Students explore fundamental physics concepts, including gravity, force, work, and momentum, while experimenting with simple machines such as levers, pulleys, wheels, axles, wedges, and inclined planes. The program emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and iterative design.Session Details
