Calling all pirates and mermaids! Seas of adventure await in this magical week of Pirates & Mermaids. Join Ms. Bahr, Harding’s Lower School Spanish teacher, for a creative and playful camp designed especially for pre-k and kindergarten students. Throughout the week, your young adventurer will dive into an imaginative ocean world—exploring pirate tales and mermaid legends (both fictional and inspired by real stories), creating pirate ships, treasure, and mermaid crafts, and setting off on exciting adventures. Campers will practice kindness, cooperation, and teamwork as they work together to navigate the seas. A light and joyful sprinkling of Spanish will be woven into our activities through songs, simple words, and playful phrases, offering a fun and gentle introduction to the language. A week full of imagination, creativity, and ocean-themed fun awaits. Anchor down.Additional Information
🕐 Extended Care
Harding offers extended morning care from 7:30-8:30 AM and afternoon extended care from 3:00-4:00 PM. The cost is $50 per week for morning OR afternoon care ($100 for both).
📋 Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy Registration for each program is available until 11:59 PM on the Thursday before a program starts. A $25 registration fee per program registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Registrations canceled more than two weeks prior to the start of the camp will be refunded the remaining balance. Cancellation requests should be emailed to summer@hardingacademy.us. Requests for refunds or transfers to another program cannot be honored within two weeks of a camp’s start date. Harding Academy reserves the right to cancel camps due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In the event a camp is canceled prior to the start, full refunds will be issued, including the $25 registration fee. If canceled mid-week, tuition refunds will be prorated
🍴 Lunch
Students attending both a morning and an afternoon session must pack a lunch and plan to eat on campus. The lunch period is supervised by summer program staff. Lunch is not provided by Harding Academy.
