In our pony camps, children will receive daily riding time in the saddle and have the opportunity and responsibility for caring for our wonderful ponies. Our ponies are friendly, love children, and are specially chosen to match your child's size, skill, and personality. Each day focuses on riding techniques, safety, tack (saddles, bridles, halters), grooming, equine care, and good communication from both the ground and in the saddle. All activities are hands-on. At the end of each week, campers will show what they have learned in a pony parade presented to parents. Includes: basic riding skills, equine safety, pony care (feeding, hoof care, health), stable care, tack care, equine education, and arena games. 12 campers per session. Note: horses available for taller campers who have outgrown ponies.Available Sessions
