A week-long overnight summer camp for children ages 7-15 who are currently being treated or previously treated for cancer at Texas Children's Cancer Center. Each patient may bring one sibling within the same age range. A full medical staff is on duty 24 hours a day, and children continuing active treatment can receive it at camp. Activities include swimming, archery, wheelchair basketball, ropes courses, games, crafts, and storytelling. The Periwinkle Foundation funds the program, making it free of charge for all participants. Holds Gold Ribbon accreditation from the Children's Oncology Camping Association, International.Session Details
