Discover Dallas is a FREE summer camp offered by Dallas Park and Recreation at multiple recreation center locations for City of Dallas youth ages 5-13. This engaging program provides youth an opportunity to stay active, build confidence, and discover new interests in a supportive environment. Through team and individual activities, campers develop teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Activities include arts and crafts, fine arts, fitness sessions, sports, field trips, and specialized enrichment programs. Dallas residency required; proof of residency required at registration. Space is limited and filled first come, first served. Available at 6 recreation center locations: Hiawatha Williams (2976 Cummings St, 75216), Janie C. Turner (6424 Elam Rd, 75217), Larry Johnson (3700 Dixon Ave, 75210), Marcus (3003 Northaven Rd, 75229), Thurgood Marshall (5150 Mark Trail, 75232), Willie B. Johnson (12225 Willowdell Dr, 75243). In-person registration at each rec center Apr 1 - May 21.Available Sessions
