The recorder is a fantastic beginner wind instrument for young musicians, and this camp offers plenty of musical fun! Participants will learn basic ensemble techniques using simple, familiar folk songs. The Recorder Karate method guides beginners, step by step, from zero experience to playing a short recital by the end of the week. Students earn “karate belts” for their recorders after mastering each song, and we play as a group to practice listening and staying in sync with others. *Recorders and sheet music are provided for camp participants.Session Details
