Welcome to the magical world of 3D printing! Take a hands-on journey into incredible manufacturing technology and unleash your inner engineer. Design and test incredible 3D printed products to solve everyday problems. From practical tools like cup holders, phone stands, and measuring cups, to entirely new gadgets! Whatever you can dream of, you can make! Using Onshape, a powerful and free online CAD (computer-aided design) software, students will gain essential skills in measuring, sketching, and modeling their own inventions. Students will learn how to think like an inventor, and look at the world in a new way. You'll learn to bring your ideas to life by turning them into tangible creations, all while mastering the basics of 3D printing technology. Camp Highlights: Learn to solve everyday problems with practical 3D prints Learn to design, iterate, and create using 3D CAD software Socialize with other campers through breaks to share different approaches to similar problems Students will be able to take home their 3D printed designs to show off to friends and family.Available Sessions
