Seasonal horseback riding camp focusing on building complete and total confidence in basic equestrian skills. Campers spend 50-60% of each day riding or performing activities and exercises on horseback. Topics include horse care and grooming, safety and handling techniques, horse breeds, sizes, colors, and uses, riding skills and etiquette, equipment and barn care, gaits and control, and local events and horse shows. Maximum 5:1 rider-to-instructor ratio. Campers must bring their own lunch, helmet (bicycle helmet acceptable), and water bottle. Early registration discount of 10% available (must register at least 7 days prior to the first day of camp).Available Sessions
