Ages: 7 years & up Students must be ready for deep water 9+feet Level 3: Advanced: Students will build on previously learned skills. Your child will learn the front crawl and elementary backstroke at rudimentary levels. Skills include: Front crawl and elementary backstroke Flutter, scissors, breaststroke and dolphin kicks. Treading water and floating for 1 minute swimming 25 yards continuously Headfirst entries in deep water Exist Skills will include the following before advancement: Jumping into deep water from the side, recovering to the surface, maintain position by treading or floating for 1 minutes, rotating a 360, then swimming the front crawl and/or elementary backstroke for 25 yards and then exit the water. Pushing off in a streamlined position, swimming the front crawl for 15 yards, changing position and direction, swimming the elementary backstroke for 15 yards and then exiting the water. Next Level: Level 4 -Stroke Improvement Increase endurance in swim strokes Learning open turns Introduction of standing dives
