Camp Huawni is a classic, throwback overnight summer camp on 600+ acres in the Piney Woods of East Texas between Timpson and Center. Since 1965, campers in grades 1-11 enjoy 20+ activities including swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, archery, rock climbing, zip line, arts and crafts, pottery, woodworking, team sports, guided hikes, and evening events like campfire gatherings, talent shows, and movie nights. With a 3:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, the camp emphasizes friendship, creativity, and unplugging from technology. 10th and 11th graders may join the Running Deer Program, a leadership-focused track with additional responsibilities and group experiences.Available Sessions
