The KCRC Youth Summer Rowing Camp is designed for youth rowers with prior rowing experience, including athletes continuing from our Youth Learn-to-Row (LTR) program and more experienced competitive rowers. Athletes will be placed into boats based on skill level to support safe, effective development. ALL rowers who have not sculled will learn to scull during the first week of camp. Training focuses on improving technique, stamina, speed, and strength through a combination of on-the-water rowing and land-based conditioning. Newer rowers will build confidence and refine foundational skills, while experienced athletes will benefit from higher-intensity training to prepare for upcoming competition or college-level rowing. This camp offers a supportive, team-oriented environment that helps athletes continue developing their skills while enjoying the sport of rowing. Requirements: be able to hold 30 lbs over head, only incoming 8th-12th graders, completed a Beginner/LTR camp within 1 year.
