This course is designed exclusively for students with no background in game development — the ideal starting point for those who play video games and have always wondered what goes into making one. Students explore the key disciplines that come together in a real production environment, including game programming, game art, and music and sound design. Students begin with independent exploration of each area using the Unity game engine, then come together in small teams for a capstone project to build a simple game from concept to completion. Location: DigiPen Institute, Redmond.
