Students will have an opportunity to learn about the different types of medical specialties by practicing with hands-on activities. Heart and brain dissections, suturing practice, outbreak investigations, and so much more. Students may become certified in CPR (depends on Red Cross availability) and practice emergency wound care. Learning to identify and diagnose is an art form, and we will practice SOAP procedures as well as differential diagnoses through case studies. Students will leave with an appreciation of medicine and the human body. Instructor: BGA Employee Kirsten Landry.Available Sessions
