Check-In: Check-in will take place on Sunday from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Indoor Recreation Center/Multipurpose Facility. All campers will be asked to meet in the stands by 3:45pm for camp orientation. The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). All grades are for the incoming 2025-2026 school year. Camp Conclusion: Camp will end at 12:00pm on Thursday with an awards ceremony – parents are invited. All campers will be provided with a takeaway lunch (this lunch is for campers only). Housing: ALL campers are responsible for housing/hotel on their own. We will provide a discount rate to Holiday Inn Vanderbilt in the coming weeks, but you are welcome to stay wherever you’d like. Facilities – Meals: Hawkins Field and the Indoor Recreation Center/Multipurpose Facility will be the site of the High School Prospect Camp. We will also use adjacent fields on the Vanderbilt campus for instruction and game activity. Dinner will be served on Sunday, lunch and dinner will be served Monday through Wednesday, and lunch will be served on Thursday. Please alert Amy Elkus at baseball@vanderbilt.edu of any food allergies at least two weeks prior to the start of camp so the cafeteria can be prepared. What to Bring: Vanderbilt is not liable for theft of loss of camper’s personal property so please label all gear! Bat, Glove, Hat, Helmet, Baseball Shoes, Sneakers, Baseball Pants, Shorts and T-Shirts. Your child may wear metal or molded cleats. We suggest molded to protect our field, but metal is fine.
