Summer Reading Camp is a 6-week program for children who are having difficulty learning to read. Focuses on decoding (reading), encoding (spelling), sight words and phonological awareness. Clinicians use a multisensory approach to teach phonics and phonemic awareness, with some reading comprehension instruction. Staffed by UT Dallas graduate students under supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist. A 30-minute intake session must be scheduled to screen for eligibility ($50, not insurance eligible). No formal diagnosis required.Pick Your Days
