A weeklong junior police academy held over the Wylie ISD summer break, taught by Wylie Police Department School Resource Officers. Participants engage in daily physical training (boot camp-style, obstacle course), K9 demonstrations, crime scene investigations, CPR certification, SWAT demonstrations, and traffic stop scenarios. Open to students entering 8th or 9th grade. Limited to 24 participants per session, filled first-come, first-served. Register by emailing SROs Fredericks or McKiddy.Available Sessions
