First and Second Sessions are the core of what Four Winds does. In a stunning natural environment on Orcas Island, supported by a skilled and dedicated staff, campers embrace values of community, simplicity and creativity, and grow comfortably into their own skin. Campers participate in six activity classes covering waterfront (sailing, rowing), land sports, equestrian, arts and crafts, and gardening. Four weeks allows for significant growth and development of self-awareness as children build friendships, learn group living skills, and find joy in a technology-free setting. Campers entering 9th or 10th grade take a 6-day canoeing, sailing, kayaking or backpacking trip out of camp.
