In this camp, students step into the roles of both authors and illustrators. Through mini-lessons, students will explore character, dialogue, settings, beginnings and endings. Writing stations will guide campers as they practice dialogue, develop characters and storyboard their ideas. Each camper will create a book cover, story blurb and illustrations for their story, and on the final day, they will share their finished books with their fellow young authors. Instructor: Eastside Catholic Testing Center Coordinator and Paraprofessional Lindsey Farmer.
