Teen Advanced builds on the skills learned in our Teen Sailing camp and is designed for sailors ready to take the next step in boat handling and performance. This course can be taken before or after Teen Adventure Camp and focuses on advanced maneuvers, sail trim, and boat speed in both singlehanded and doublehanded boats. Sailors will learn additional rigging, tuning, and on-the-water techniques used in racing, while keeping the emphasis on fun and skill development. Racing concepts like starts, mark roundings, and tactics are introduced in a low-pressure, supportive environment. This program is a great follow-up to Teen Sailing and an excellent option for sailors curious about racing or preparing to join a race team.
