Teen Sailing is designed for sailors of all experience levels and provides a fun, supportive introduction to sailing or a chance to refine existing skills. Sailors are grouped by ability and focus on learning the fundamentals of boat handling, teamwork, and safe decision-making on the water. Instruction emphasizes core sailing maneuvers such as tacking, jibing, sail trim, and boat control. Sailors will sail a variety of boats including Flying Juniors (FJs), c420s, Fevas, and Lasers. This course builds a strong foundation for continued sailing, including our Teen Advanced Sailing and Teen Adventure Sailing Camps, as well as future race team opportunities.
