Garden Explorers is the PlayGarden's fully inclusive, fun-packed, nature-based, summer day camp for children with and without disabilities ages 4-12 years old. During Garden Explorers, your child will get to plant, harvest, and cook from our vegetable garden, do science experiments, build in our construction zone, and best of all engage in child-directed free play. Activities that campers often decide upon include building forts, going on scavenger hunts, tending a farm stand, baking pies, and tending to the animals. During camp, there are times children can play solo and in small groups as well as times we come together as a whole group.
