The PlayGarden's Junior Counselor Program is a youth leadership program that runs in conjunction with the PlayGarden's fully-inclusive outdoor play-based Summer Camp program. The program provides an opportunity for young leaders ages 13-16 to learn what it is like to work as a camp counselor at the PlayGarden. Junior Counselors learn how to set-up camp activities, how to support and play with kids of all ages and abilities, and how to work collaboratively in a team environment while having fun! Junior Counselors select two weeks of summer camp to participate in. Weeks do not need to be back to back. The program costs $500 for two weeks. Financial aid is available upon request.
