Summer Camp Organizations

Year-round camp serving 175+ individuals with disabilities including Down syndrome, autism, developmental delays, and sensory impairments. Summer six-day sessions feature swimming, archery, fishing, hiking, cooking, and drama with a 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio for ages 8+.

Annual Denver Rocky Mountain Chess Camps taught by Denver Chess Master Todd Bardwick, author of the Chess Detective series. Programs for all abilities and ages cover scorekeeping, etiquette, tournament preparation, and strategic planning.

Week-long summer day camps and overnight courses for grades 1–12. Jr. Mountain Explorers, Mountain Explorers, and Mountain Leaders programs feature hiking, rock climbing, nature exploration, wilderness survival, and paddle sports departing from Golden.

Outdoor adventure day and overnight camps located 10 miles above Boulder in the Rocky Mountains. Activities include horseback riding, mountainboarding, archery, yoga, rock climbing, and nature exploration. Voted Best Summer Camp in Boulder repeatedly.

Official youth baseball and softball camps held at Coors Field, providing kids the unique experience of training on a Major League field with professional instruction from Rockies coaching staff.

STEM summer camps on the Mines campus for elementary through high school students. Programs include Engineering Design Camp with SolidWorks CAD, LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Camp, Magic of Science camp, and High Voltage electricity camp guided by engineering faculty.

CU Boulder summer camps for ages 6–18 where students rehearse, stage, and perform shortened Shakespeare plays. Shakespeare's Sprites for ages 6–9 offers a playful introduction while Camp Shakespeare for ages 9–18 includes full performances in the Roe Green Theatre.
