Summer Camp Organizations

Summer camps divided by age group where kids explore musical arts through instruments, musical games, acting, singing, dancing, and composing. Each week-long camp ends with a performance and no prior music experience is required.

Ignite your child’s inner artist with the Denver Art Museum’s Summer Camp annual offerings. These weeklong day camps encourage kids to get inspired by the DAM collection and to create their own art. This year, campers can sign up to express themselves through sculpture, explore the intersection of art and nature, design their own architecture, and more!

Week-long day camps for ages 6–12 at York Street and Chatfield Farms featuring exploration, games, mindfulness, and plants. Themes include Enchanted Ecology, Smarty Plants, and Art on the Farm where campers discover the world of plants through art, science, and gardening.

Instructional lacrosse camps run by University of Denver Pioneers coaching staff at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Camps for boys in grades 1–12 with half-day and overnight options featuring position-specific training and scrimmage sessions.

Summer Day Camps get brains and bodies moving! Learn and play as we experiment, create, build, ask questions, and develop a knowledge of and passion for science. Our camps are led by experienced educators offering the best opportunity for fun and learning. For full day camps, children must be at least 5 years of age on or before their first day of camp.

Official youth basketball program of the Denver Nuggets offering co-ed camps for ages 6–14 at Ball Arena and Gold Crown Fieldhouse. Three-day camps focus on fundamentals and basketball IQ with campers receiving a Nuggets jersey, basketball, and game ticket.

City-run summer camps for youth at 10+ recreation centers across Denver. Free Summer Rec Kidz day camps for ages 8–12 feature weekly themed activities, field trips, and enrichment programs. Also offers licensed Summer in the Parks child care programs with sports, aquatics, and arts.

Established in 1978, offering Kids Morning Out summer camp for boys and girls ages 3–8 with gymnastics-based activities, water games, inflatables, and weekly spirit themes running Monday through Friday mornings.

Safari Camps provide the perfect adventure for campers that have the drive and desire to discover an affection for animals. Camps feature animal experiences, zoo expeditions, engineering authentic solutions to real-world challenges, and hands-on, camper-driven exploration.
