Summer Camp Organizations

Nine weeks of summer art camps for grades K-7 with half-day and full-day sessions featuring visual arts instruction. End-of-week performance or exhibit for family and friends. ADA accommodations available.

Summer camps and programs for children and teens featuring sports, fitness, adventure, arts, nature, and STEM programming at community centers and parks throughout Howard County.

Variety of therapeutic recreation camps and activities through Howard County Recreation and Parks for children and teens with disabilities, alongside mainstream inclusive programming.

Summer intensive programs for teens ages 13–17 (Teen CREATE and Teen REP) and youth dance camps for ages 4–12 through the Youth Dance Program, covering contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap.

Half-day biotechnology camps for rising 6th through 12th graders featuring hands-on DNA extraction, genetic engineering, molecular biology experiments, and lab tours. Multiple camp levels from introductory to advanced.

Week-long animal-focused summer camps for ages 6-8, 9-12, and 13-16, featuring hands-on interaction with shelter animals, animal care skills, pet safety education, crafts, and games. All staff have Level 2 background screening.

Summer camps for ages rising 1st grade through 19 years old involving the Animal Resource Center, cat and dog animal care, crafts, and hands-on experience with animals. Scholarship applications available.

Humane education summer camp for ages 6-12 with shelter tours, making pet treats and toys, arts and crafts, and meeting shelter pets while learning about kindness, compassion, and animal care.

Week-long camps featuring games, hands-on animal interactions, dog training, cat enrichment, and service learning projects for animal-loving kids. Also offers single-day Farmyard Friends Animal Adventures.
