Summer Camp Organizations

Five-day residential summer camp for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and ADHD. Accepts 22–24 campers per session with one-on-one volunteer buddies, featuring swimming, adaptive sports, talent shows, and carnivals.

Catholic overnight summer camp near Portland with archery, swimming, arts and crafts, basketball, volleyball, slip n slide, campfires, and family camp options. Campers grouped by age and gender for 6-day sessions.

Coed residential summer camp with Juniors, Teens, and Counselors-in-Training programs plus the fully inclusive ECHO Program for campers with special needs. All programs feature swimming, climbing tower, challenge course, arts, and sports; teen programs add off-site trips.

Traditional co-ed overnight camp on 600+ acres in the Piney Woods of East Texas, family-owned since 1965 and extremely popular with DFW families. Serves grades 1–11 with 20+ daily activities including archery, high ropes, mountain bikes, swimming, and waterfront activities. One-week Starter and two-week Main sessions available.

Behind-the-scenes summer camp at the San Antonio Humane Society where campers learn about animal care, welfare, and compassion through hands-on experiences with shelter animals.

Since 1991, a free one-week summer camp for young burn survivors ages 7–20 at YMCA Camp Duncan. Activities include archery, horseback riding, rock climbing, and therapeutic workshops with a nearly 1:1 volunteer ratio.
