This elective explores movement rooted in hip-hop culture, covering forms including breaking, house, and urban-based styles. Students develop proficiency in musicality, applied rhythm, isolations, footwork, grooves, choreography, weight shifts and street aesthetic while studying the cultural evolution of these forms. Live DJ accompaniment supports both choreographed segments and improvisation skill development.Session Details
